1. Informational and editorial content

Ask Why, Guys publishes documentary, investigative, and editorial material for general information and entertainment. Content is not legal, financial, medical, investment, safety, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using information found on the site.

2. Accuracy, sources, and corrections

We aim to preserve credible sources and distinguish documented facts, calculations, uncertainty, commentary, and dramatized editorial imagery. Investigations may concern disputed events, evolving records, or interpretations on which reasonable people disagree. We do not promise that every item will always be complete, current, or error-free.

Corrections, counterevidence, and primary-source material are welcome through the protected contact form. We may update, clarify, correct, remove, or add context to content when appropriate.

3. Intellectual property

Original site design, writing, branding, graphics, and produced media are protected by applicable law. You may link to public pages and share brief excerpts with attribution where permitted by law. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape for republication, remove attribution from, or create a competing archive from substantial original site content without permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, photographs, video embeds, quotations, and source materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable licenses, permissions, platform terms, or legal principles.

4. Questions, comments, and other submissions

You retain the rights you hold in material you submit. By submitting a question, comment, source, or message, you give Under Ellum and Ask Why, Guys a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to review, store, edit for length or clarity, investigate, and use the submission to operate the site or develop editorial content. We are not required to publish, investigate, respond to, credit, or compensate any submission.

You represent that you have the right to submit the material and that it is not knowingly false, unlawful, threatening, infringing, malicious, confidential without authorization, or invasive of another person’s privacy. Public comments are also governed by the separate Comment Policy.

5. Acceptable use and moderation

You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, impersonate another person, submit spam, harvest contact information, evade moderation controls, or use the forms to threaten, harass, defraud, or violate applicable law. We may reject submissions, restrict access, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary.

6. External platforms and services

The site includes links, embeds, and services operated by Netlify, Cloudflare, Google, YouTube, and other third parties. Their availability, processing, content, security, and policies are outside our control. An embedded video may be unavailable before its scheduled release or after a platform action.

7. Merchandise concepts and future commerce

Merchandise currently shown on the site is a non-purchasable concept preview. No order, payment, shipping promise, warranty, return right, or customer relationship is created unless a functioning checkout and separate commerce terms are explicitly introduced.

8. Disclaimers and limitation

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Under Ellum disclaims implied warranties concerning availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Under Ellum does not guarantee uninterrupted access, search ranking, video availability, audience response, or any particular result.

To the extent permitted by law, Under Ellum will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, reliance on editorial material, user submissions, or third-party services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Changes and contact
